Not practicing

Hi I’m Dr Sarah Martorella, I have been a registered and practicing Osteopath for 20 years.

My work in the health and fitness industry over the past 25 years has had me working as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, masseur, bowen therapist and long-standing lecturer at RMIT University within the Osteopathic Department.

I love my exercise and fitness and value its role in my own physical and mental well-being. I have plenty of experience in working with the general population for sports and exercise-related injuries but my particular aim as an Osteopath is injury prevention. With older adults, I have a special interest in managing joint replacements, and caring for patients with osteoporosis, arthritis, dementia and incontinence (hopefully not all the above for any one person)! For growing bodies, I concentrate on a thorough assessment and then managing the demands of sport, study and other daily loads placed on kids today with appropriate treatment and advice.
