Hi there,

I’m Caitlin a Taswegian who has recently returned to the Big Island and again calls Melbourne home after sorely missing the Melbourne lifestyle!

After completing my Osteopathic studies at Victoria University, I moved closer to family and gained experience in Hobart where I developed and refined my treatment style. I use a variety of treatment techniques that include soft tissue release, joint mobilisation, joint manipulation, dry needling, and contract-relax techniques. I often prescribe home exercises or stretches that copy or sit alongside hands-on therapy.

I have a special interest in treating rib sprains, low back pain, repetitive strain injuries and headaches. I enjoy educating patients and incorporating sleep hygiene, sleep ergonomics, stress and breathing dysfunction education into treatment plans.

I love being an osteopath and I especially enjoy really getting to know my patients and their story. Knowing patients individually, allows me to work with them to tailor their treatment plan to reach their therapeutic goals. One of my goals as a practitioner is to empower each patient to live their fullest and healthiest life.

In my spare time when my newly adopted kitten, Temperance, isn’t stealing my attention I’m often swimming, doing Pilates, cooking, or socialising with friends.  I’m really looking forward to meeting you and walking alongside you in your health journey!
